Mastopexy is also known as a breast lift is a surgical procedure to lift, reshape and support the contour of the breast after breast sagging or breast ptosis. Besides aging and gravity, many other factors such as pregnancy, weight changes, and hormonal changes lead to change in breast shape over time. As a result of these changes, women feel a loss of femininity and the youthfulness of breasts. Breast lift not only reshapes the breast but also restores youthfulness and femininity in a female. In a breast lift, there is the removal of excess skin and redraping of breast tissue to provide contour and firmness to the breast.
